What A Game!

I woke up around 7am but then rolled over and went back to sleep, thinking I would get up in another 1-2 hours and get set to watch the game.

The next time I looked at my clock I thought it was 10.30. I looked again and it was actually 1.30! I had missed pretty much the first quarter.

I watched until the last quarter then headed out to do some shopping & listened to the last quarter on the radio... I'm glad I wasn't watching it at home because I would not have been able to bear it! The siren couldn't come soon enough - what with the Swans coming to within 1 point a couple of times in the last 10 minutes!

But it is great that the Eagles have finally won another Grand Final after last year's disappointment.

Good on you boys!!!

Footy Finals Fever

Well, we're almost there again... another Grand Final.

I watched the last quarter of the Eagles vs Adelaide game - what a finish! Hopefully the Eagles will be able to convert their good form and win this year.

I might head up to my local to watch & cheer them on!

Go Eagles!!!

Hairdresser Catastrophe

After I returned from my holiday in Melbourne, I tried to make an appointment with my hairdresser but the phone had been disconnected. The next day, on my travels in that area, I called in to see what was happening only to discover that it was closed for renovations. At this point I wasn't concerned because they had done this before.

Anyway, I called in again today to find out what is happening and she has gone! My hairdresser has gone!!

Now I have to try and find another hairdresser that I like & one that doesn't charge too much!

Not happy Jan!!
