Family Outing

Went on a family outing to a fete at a retirement village and bought myself this picture. It was painted by one of the residents - he is in his late 70's or early 80's. I fell in love with it and just had to buy it.
We had a pretty good time walking around all the different stalls, luckily we were able to park in the estate as we know people who allowed us to park in their driveways, everyone else had to park miles away and walk in.

Movie Review: Julie & Julia

I didn't enjoy this as much as I thought I would. Meryl Streep's voice got on my nerves!

Plot: Julia Child's story of her start in the cooking profession is intertwined with blogger Julie Powell's 2002 challenge to cook all the recipes in Child's first book.

Deep Thought For Today

"A spoken truth should not cause offence to those without a guilty conscience."

I hope I have not plagiarised anybody... was just something that came to me after a yet another disappointment from my family.
